Sub-Category Icon Navigation
Overview
Quickly improve your customer's ability to navigate your site's category hierarchy by providing them with visual icons to efficiently navigate your product catalog. Currently in ProStores when a customer clicks on a parent category that contains sub-categories and products, it displays all products for every sub-category on one page. This can become overwhelming to shoppers if they cannot easily get to the sub-category they want. Our plug-in prevents customer frustration this by cleanly displaying 4 sub-category names across per row. You can assign a customized image to each sub-category that is representative of that category for a more visually driven navigation. Once the customer navigates to the deepest of your sub-categories, they will be shown the product search results.
